History of Business
Located at 532 Center Street in the Village of Rosemary Alberta, R & W Furniture was established in 1976 by Wally and Harold Unruh, independent entrepreneurs and has been privately owned and operated by the Unruh family ever since. Over the past 35 years the business has grown steadily. As sales grew, the showroom was expanded to 4500 sq. ft. to accommodate a larger selection of merchandise. In 1989 the operation of the business became the responsibility of Harold who still manages the company with the continued assistance of his father as well as his wife and two sons.

R & W Furniture is and always has been dedicated to creating an enriched customer service experience starting with the purchase of the perfect piece of furniture right through to the free local delivery and set up of the item in the customer’s home. R & W is proud that the majority of their stock is Canadian made ensuring their patrons receive the best quality at the best price. Our mission statement is “We Don’t Meet the Competition, We Create It”. R & W Furniture continues to maintain a unique small town customer service which provides integrity and dedication to their customers.
