2017 National Aboriginal Day

Dance and drum performances by Tsuu T'ina Nation, artifact displays, children's activities, crafts table and more!

Admission is FREE and everyone is welcome to attend.

This event will be hosted by the Grasslands Public School Division and the City of Brooks.  We will be celebrating and educating residents about Aboriginal culture and heritage.

Tsuu T'ina Nation is located southwest of Calgary and the Tsuu T'ina people were formerly called the Sarsi or Sarcee.  They are an Athapaskan group, once part of the more northerly Danezaa ('Beaver Indians') nation, who migrated south onto the plains during the 1700's, prior to any written records of the area.

Join us to share in the celebration!
